Language and Content Knowledge Building:

The following items are ideal for building content knowledge and increasing vocabulary:

*The I Spy books are excellent for language building AND the visual system

**Try pairing nonfiction books with fiction books about the same topic, even better if you have pretend play items that fit the topic

Phonics and Phonological Awareness:

*You can do a ton with play-doh, from letter building, to pretend play to “smashing” playdoh balls for sounds heard in words.

Sensory/Motor:
